2010 is right around the corner and I make it a priority to write goals. I achieve those goals, not matter how long they take, and reflect at the end of the year. I enjoy reflecting on why I may have created those goals in the first place. Goals can be small or can take a year. I firmly believe that in order to be successful in anything you must have a focus.
Today, I painted with my girls and I love childlike artwork. My middle daughter Sydney works so freely, never hesitates, and loves all her work. I have a 10 foot canvas that she started working on today. I asked her to put her work onto this plain white palette. I will work along side her to make it complete but her vision and her art will dictate this piece. I cannot wait to share it with you but it will take us some time to completed. One of my goals is to complete this with her in 2010.
What an amazing project (and goal) to work on! It will be really cool to see the finished masterpiece! I'm a big goal person, too. I was just thinking about resolutions and goals for 2010 the other day. Now I need to get them out of my head and onto paper :)
